What Happened After I Bought Your Cats A Self Cleaning Litterbox

I hate cleaning the cat box. After we got my cat my son declared that he would take care of your kitty and scoop the litter box. However, you know how that goes. He never did end up taking care of this cat. I cared for their cat. And then he came home with the other cat. I then had been taking care of 2 cats. Finally after the third cat came and I decided I would splurge on a few of those self-cleaning litterboxes therefore I wouldn't have to scoop cat poles anymore. Well I spent $200 on the very top of the line self-cleaning cat Litterbox because of our cats and this is exactly what occurred:

When I brought the box home and place up it I left the litter-boxes that the direction they were in case the cats did not wish to use the new litterbox because I did not need them going on the ground. One cat carefully entered the self-cleaning litterbox through the top entry. The litterbox started clean up after him while he was still going. He had been panicked by the noise that the cleaning mechanism made despite the fact that it said it had been a silent mechanism. So he jumped out of the box, still pooping, and conducted down the whole upstairs hall trailing poop. I had been convinced that I just had wasted $200 and made more work for myself personally.

Once I spend a hour cleaning up the hall way and then massaging the rugs I went to confirm the litterbox again. Cat number two jumped from the box also used it. Once more the noise started however this kitty was not amazed by the sound. Cat number-two sauntered out of the box without a care in the world and the box clicked to life and raked through the box cleaning it out.

On the subsequent two days I kept a close eye on most of the boxes. I never watched feline number-three usage the self-cleaning box. Not once. Cat number-two took to it straight off and has used it with no problems ever since. Cat number one sometimes uses it but still prefers the regular boxes with regular scooping litter. So I spent $200 on a spare clutter box which just 1 cat uses and that I still have to scoop litter boxes out daily.

In the end I think that pets, like kids, just aren't predictable and their personalities and experiences will ascertain whether they enjoy what they are supposed to like or not. I do not understand why just one among my cats uses the self cleaning box that I paid a lot of money for. But hopefully the other two will learn to use it . I'll not do away with this because I'm stubborn and I'm not planning to throw out that sort of capital. But if I had it to do over again I definitely would have bought a more affordable self-cleaning box or just stuck to the regular boxes with routine clumping mess.
